We are a disability lead organisation so most of us are autistic, have a learning disability, or have a loved one that does: so we get it.
Pay
You might have seen other organisations offering you an NHS Band 5 rate for your involvement.
However the salary you're been shown is for full time hours and in-person deliver on the Oliver McGowan Training is only 4h per day. This means that the real rate is around £65/day.

We know this doesn't work out to much and this bothers us.
​
So we're offering you three time's this amount: £200 for your part of a training day (4h).
​
We can't offer the same level of wrap around support as other organisations (helping you with benefits, arranging your transport, etc) but instead we hope this rate is more ethical and allows you to choose the support you want on your own terms.

We email you letting you know if we have space for you to join.
We email you back with some forms to ask about you (about what reasonable adjustments you need, past experience, etc).
We give you dates for you to recieve training to be an expert with lived experience on the programme.
You deliver your first session with us.
